Marine Personnel

All CPBS crew are qualified licensed watermen and lightermen holding a minimum of a Boat Master's Licence (BML) Tier 1, Level 2 with Local Knowledge Endorsement (LKE) for the Thames area. Additionally all hold passenger carrying, towing and pushing, and cargo handling endorsements, and are trained and qualified in workboat deck machinery including but not restricted to marine cranes, winches, and MEWPs. We believe these wide ranging skills means we have the best crew for your project.

In addition to our fully qualified crew, CPBS Marine Services are proud to employ apprentices from the age of 16 through to gaining their skipper's qualifications. In the 14 years of our operation we have seen over 14 apprentices move through the firm, in fact our longest standing crew member, Will McKee, started life with us as an apprentice and has worked his way up to Operations Manager, a crucial role in the running of the firm. Read more about our dedication to apprenticeships here.
